Allison Wheeler MD, MSCI

Allison earned her medical degree at the University of Massachusetts in Worcester and her pediatric training at Baystate Hospital in Springfield, MA. She then moved to Nashville, TN where she completed her pediatric hematology/oncology and transfusion medicine fellowships, and spent the first 10 years of her career building a collaborative hemostasis research program, while providing care for children with bleeding and clotting disorders. Allison's research career has spanned many bleeding disorders, however her personal research work has been focused on understanding and improving bleeding in females. Allison's move to Seattle was unexpected, however she was thrilled at the opportunity and looks forward to continuing her clinical and research work at WACBD.
