Preston Cody joined the WACBD team in 2026 as Contract Manager, bringing more than 30 years of healthcare administration leadership experience across government and managed care organizations. He specializes in program operations, provider contracting, and large-scale healthcare program management, with a proven track record of building high-performing teams and leading strategic initiatives that improve access, quality, and cost outcomes. Preston has led provider contracting and network strategies, with a focus on contract optimization, stakeholder collaboration, and operational performance. Prior to his private-sector work, he spent over two decades in Washington State government in senior leadership roles, overseeing large teams and directing statewide programs. He began his career in the United States Army, where he developed a strong foundation in discipline, logistics, and mission-focused execution.
