Jill Johnsen, MD
Hematologist
Jill attended medical school at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, and completed an internal medicine internship and residency at the University Hospitals of Cleveland. She was subsequently a hematology/oncology fellow (2000-2003) and clinical lecturer and research fellow (2003-2007) at the University of Michigan. She moved to Seattle and became an assistant professor of medicine (2008-2016) and then associate professor of medicine (2016-2024) at the University of Washington. Since her residency she has been interested in and provided care for people with bleeding disorders. She joined the Hemophilia Care Program at the Puget Sound Blood Center (the predecessor to WACBD) in 2013. Today, Jill is a professor of medicine at the University of Washington.
