Barbara Konkle, MD

As a hematologist Barbara has provided care for patients with hemophilia, von Willebrand disease and other bleeding disorders since 1985. She has led many research studies with a goal to improve the diagnosis and care of patients with bleeding disorders. She has held many leadership positions in the fields of bleeding and clotting disorders and she currently serves as a Board member for the Foundation for Women and Girls with Blood Disorders and the World Federation of Hemophilia.

Fun Facts

Barbara loves to read, hike, and kayak. She also enjoys opera, ballet, and spending time with her grandchildren (and their parents).
